Choosing The Right Las Vegas Personal Trainer to Work with You
Have you been searching for a personal trainer and nutrition coach in the Las Vegas area, but don’t know where to start? Perhaps you’ve already worked with a personal trainer, but his style of training and nutrition plans weren’t a good match for you?
Finding a personal trainer in Las Vegas that understands you and your goals can be a bit difficult because there are so many qualified (and unqualified) personal trainers out there. I suggest that you figure out your specific training goals. Do you want to be healthier, lose weight, build muscle, get more curvy, tone up, strengthen yourself after an injury, increase your flexibility, etc.? How about your nutrition? Do you want someone to be able to assist with that? If so, then you should think about what style of eating would be best for you. Some personal trainers specialize in clean eating, IIFYM, low carb, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, or all of the above. For example, I am a personal trainer, but I have worked with other personal trainers and I was given clean eating nutrition plans. I was miserable and it was hard for me to stick to that protocol. I love to eat delicious foods. I’m a foodie. Finding someone who can work with you to customize a nutrition plan that is SUSTAINABLE is equally as important as your workouts.
Once you’ve sorted out all the details, you should meet with some Las Vegas personal trainers to get a feel for their training styles. Some are like drill sergeants and throw you into the most strenuous and vomit inducing workouts right away, while others may take their time and assess your physical capabilities before proceeding. If you have any injuries or issues, speak up! You don’t want to get injured. Of course, a great personal trainer will ask you the proper questions before creating a workout for you. You don’t want a personal trainer that doesn’t customize his programs. Everyone is unique with their own strengths and weaknesses. Finally, find a Las Vegas personal trainer that fits within your budget. Most trainers offer free consultations and/or a free workout session. If they do, take it and see if you enjoy working with them. This is a person you will be potentially spending a lot of time with, so if they give you the heebie jeebies, run away! There are tons of other Las Vegas personal trainers.
Personally, I like to offer a personal training trial to potential clients. It gives both of us the chance to see if we’re a good fit. If you decide to choose me as your Las Vegas personal trainer, then I would customize workouts and provide nutrition coaching for YOUR specific goals. I don’t believe in cookie cutter workouts and meal plans because everyone individual is different. Again, I want it to be sustainable for you. I want you to succeed and get in the best shape of your life!
