Why should I choose YOU to be my trainer?
I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from different fitness backgrounds. I specifically cater a program based upon your goals, and needs. Above all, as a trainer, I try to ensure my clients have fun! How much of a drag would it be to workout and have zero enjoyment? That ain’t gonna happen here my friends! We’ll get you in shape and have a blast while doing it!
What will personal training do for me?
Personal training will help you become more aware of your physical capabilities, build confidence, and get you results faster!
How long will it take to see results?
The magic question! If you are consistently exercising each week while balancing your nutrition, changes in your body composition can be seen within a month. On average a person can lose 1 pound of body fat a week, and gain a half a pound of muscle a week. This means we can lose at least 4lb of body fat a month! If we are constantly checking our weight each week it can become very discouraging because we want results as soon as possible. For this reason we need to make sure we set monthly goals rather than weekly goals. At the end of each month we will be checking your body weight, body fat percent, and measurements to check your progress. Typically, clients will feel the results in the first month. Your pants will feel looser, and your arms may even feel tighter, most importantly you’ll feel incredible! The work you put in will no doubt make the difference.
Where will the training sessions be held?
My 1-on-1 training takes place at Plus Ultra Fitness a small fitness studio in Las Vegas. It's located between Summerlin South, Spring Valley, and the Las Vegas Strip. If a client requests for training at home or out of the area, additional charges will be applied Training off premises is subject to availability.
How many days a week should I train?
I always recommend training together 3 times a week. The reason for this is simple: you want to reach your goals as quickly as possible and be as effective as possible. This allows you to get the most benefit when it comes to:
1. Familiarizing yourself with the exercises
2. Developing consistency in working out
3. Progressing your body’s development.
If a client wants to (for example) train once a week, I am available to do so. However, in the long run it won’t be as beneficial. Remember, this is for YOUR benefit in the long run!
Can I buy one session at a time?
Yes! However, I usually recommend a membership or package to help support behavior change and achieving your goals, I realize that sometimes people may want to just meet for a one-time session. Perhaps you want to try it out and see if it’s for you or maybe you prefer to purchase follow up sessions at your own pace.
Do I need to change what I eat?
Let me make this clear: nutrition is more important than the workout itself. (I’ll say it again.) Your nutrition is more important than the workout itself! Many researchers have estimated your nutrition accounts for 70-80% of your body composition. The human body must be treated as a temple. We only get one. This doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the food we love from time to time. However, we must take responsibility to ensure our body gets the right amount of nutrients each day. More often than not, nutrition can often be the culprit when goals aren’t achieved. As your trainer, I will also be your health coach to make sure you’re going in the right direction!
I just want to “tone up.” Do I have to lift weights?
I’m a woman and I just want to “tone up.” Do I have to lift weights? Won’t it make me big and buff? These are some of the most common questions I receive! There have been many studies conducted to determine whether cardio or resistance training provided the most weight loss. As it turns out, resistance training is more beneficial when it comes to building lean muscle and losing body fat compared to cardio activity alone. I have used resistance training with every woman I have worked with. None by the way ever came out looking like a female body builder. (Unless, that’s what you’re aiming for!) Resistance training will develop lean muscle and a toned up body!
Can I roll over missed sessions from my monthly program to the next month?
No. If sessions are not completed within the allotted time frame, they will be forfeited.
Clients participating in the personal training membership programs may “roll over” any missed sessions from the previous week. In addition, they may bring in a friend or family member to help them use their missed sessions before the next month. In other words, the client may make up for missed sessions during their month of training, but may not roll over sessions missed to the next month. Make up sessions for the month are subject to availability and are on a first come first serve basis.
Will my personal training sessions from my package last forever?
No. Package sessions expire 180 days after purchase.
How do I cancel my personal training?
Member may terminate their monthly membership at any time by providing a 2 week (14 days written notice) before their next payment date. Oral termination will not be valid. Notice of termination is considered given, if sent by email, text, or if by hand when delivered to Chase Oliver’s place of business.
During the last month of membership, one more EFT billing will occur and Member’s privileges will continue for one more month. If member paid the last months dues upon joining and has fully paid all obligations then this amount shall not be billed, otherwise it shall be applied to cover any unpaid obligations and to cover any costs in connection with the terminated membership.
